Biography
Paul is a native of Amarillo, Texas. Paul confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and seeks, as best he is able, to be a Christ-follower. Paul graduated from Amarillo High School in 1978. While at Baylor University, Paul met and married his college sweetheart, Sarah Heinze. Paul acknowledges that Sarah’s commitment to life and her unwavering care for unborn children and pregnant mothers-to-be, is inspiring. Paul has admiration for Sarah’s meaningful use of her training as a registered nurse to serve as a sonographer at Hope Choice Centers, in Amarillo. Sarah is, has been, and continues to remain, his best friend. Paul counts himself fortunate to enjoy greatly his role as father to Brad, Aaron, and Alyssa; and his role as grandfather to Braeden, Kynzleigh, Benjamin, Ellie, and Raeleigh. Family trips, family meals, and family times together, are truly treasured.
At the office, Paul considers it a humble calling to serve his clients in planning their estates through effective uses of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other planning tools and techniques. Paul appreciates opportunities to guide families through the probate process and trust administration process, following the death of a loved one. Paul considers it a unique privilege to counsel business owners in the formation and operations of their partnerships, corporations, and limited liability companies. Paul diligently applies his experience and knowledge to negotiating and navigating business transactions from both seller and buyer perspectives. Paul is pleased to provide assistance to boards of elders and boards of trustees of churches, as well as to boards of directors and governing persons of all types of charitable and 501(c)(3) organizations. In all of his work, Paul prioritizes clear and caring client communication, efficiency, high quality work product, and results.
